This week we are beginning our next Unit of Inquiry: Where we are in place and time
The Unit of Inquiry will focus on the Central Idea:
Historical evidence provides an insight into our family history.
We will be looking at:
* Ways of documenting a personal history
* Changes in my life
* Reflecting on my family's past
We will be emphasizing some of the key concepts through this unit of inquiry. We will be focussing on reflection (How do we know?); form (What is it like?); and change (How is it changing?).
Some of the questions that will be used to direct our studies will be:
Please refer to your child's class page to complete a short questionnaire about your family's history. We will use this information to scaffold discussions and help your child inquire into their past.
