Parenting with Love and Logic
Love and Logic is a parenting approach that teaches parents to set and enforce limits in a firm, calm and loving way. At the theoretical core of this approach is the idea that successful parenting begins with communicating expectations, sharing the thinking & decision-making and having children learn through their mistakes and successes. As children are given opportunities to experience their own successes and failures, their thinking skills, decision making and responsibility improve and they become more successful in all areas of their lives.
The elementary counseling team will be repeating the Parenting with Love and Logic workshop on Wednesday, May 4th 8:30-10:00 in the Planetarium. This interactive workshop will improve your understanding of these parenting principles and strategies.
