Dear Parents,
Whilst we want the KG2 children to have access to outdoor play we understand the restrictions at this time of year. At the moment the KG2 children are accessing shaded play spaces for 15 minutes per day. This break gives the children a chance to re-energise, get some fresh air, re-focus, meet friends from other classes, play and relax in a different environment. It is crucial that the children have a full water bottle at school every day and also a hat to wear at this time. The teachers on duty are there to care for the children and keep them safe. They remind the children to take breaks, drink water and slow down. As the weather continues to cool down we will access these areas for longer periods of time.
Please talk to us if you have any worries or concerns,
The KG2 Team
